Morehouse May Madness is a street festival celebrating Morehouse Parish with the focus being on historic downtown Bastrop, LA. The festival features an art exhibit, a motorcycle exhibit, a classic car exhibit, awesome music, a kid zone, farmers market activities, music, and juried merchant and food vendors. All of these activities are located in downtown Bastrop.
All proceeds from the festival are used to fund future MMM festivals and for community projects through Morehouse Beautification Inc. DBA Keep Morehouse Beautiful (KMB). KMB is a 501-C-3 non-profit organization.

Activities include an art exhibit, a pet contest, a motorcycle exhibit, a classic car exhibit, great music, a kid zone, a cutest baby contest, farmers market activities, a corn hole game, and much more. There will be even a visit from Miss Louisiana.

All activities take place in historic downtown Bastrop where the beautiful Morehouse Parish Courthouse serves as the centerpiece.

To apply to become a food or merchant vendor, click here! Read the guidelines and submit a completed application. Please note that this is a juried event! Vendors cannot sell sodas or water. Schools, businesses, and nonprofits, please register here too!
+ Where do the proceeds go?
Proceeds from sponsors and vendors go to future Morehouse May Madness Street Festival events and to Keep Morehouse Beautiful to be used for downtown improvements.
+ Where do I park?
Entering Bastrop on West Jefferson - behind Bastrop Beauty School and across from the Morehouse Coroner's Office, turn left off of West Jefferson into a historic downtown Bastrop parking area - no cost.
Entering Bastrop on West Jefferson - at the intersection of Vine St. and East Jefferson on the right is a large parking area at no cost courtesy of the First United Methodist Church.
Entering Bastrop on South Franklin - at the Morehouse Parish Sheriff's Office located at 351 South Washington.
Become a Vendor
Applying to be a vendor is easy. Complete the application (Merchant or Food Vendor), if you are a merchant vendor, submit the requested photos on-line; agree to the Vendor Guidelines; and submit your registration fee. Schools, non-profits, and businesses, please complete the merchant application. 10 x 10 booths are $65. Effective April 1, they increase to $75. Food trailers are $85. Effective April 1, they increase to $95. Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot and vendors who are not accepted will be notified. To be guaranteed a booth, accepted vendors must pay their registration fee by Saturday at midnight prior to the Festival.
Registered vendors should notify MMM (318-282-2985) by 8 p.m. on the Friday night prior to the Festival if they will not be at Festival so that their booth(s) can be assigned to other vendors.
Booth assignments will be contained in vendor packets which are given to vendors at check-in. Booth assignments will not be provided until then.
Vendors must not place merchandise outside of 10x10 booth space and tents must be anchored with either sand bags, cinder blocks or by some other means.
All vendor vehicles shall be removed from walking areas by 8:30 a.m. and shall not be allowed to re-enter until after the event has ended.
Vendors are not allowed to sell sodas or water.
More information (check-in instructions, parking availability, etc.) will be provided to vendors by email prior to the event.
